GreatButton uses the contact details, brand website, workflow information and designs you submit to prepare your requested demo and respond. Submitting a form does not sign you up for a mailing list. We never sell your data or use it for purposes unrelated to providing and securing this service.

Homepage style creation

When you choose Create style, your description and any reference image are sent to our AI provider to generate the requested style. GreatButton processes these inputs for that request without adding them to a demo request or private studio. Applying a style saves its color, layout and type settings in your browser when browser storage is available, so you can select it again.

Design uploads and demo requests

You can request a free demo studio using your website or a short description of what you need. Uploading a design is optional. We save your email, website and any notes so the GreatButton team can prepare your demo and follow up. Your website helps us identify the right brand; we do not assume it from your email address.

If you add a design, it is saved in private file storage for our team to review. We save your contact details, notes and file details before the transfer starts so we can follow up even if the upload is interrupted.

A request with a brand website can automatically prepare a private studio draft by reading the public website’s logo, colours and font files. Our team reviews these assets and templates before sharing access. AI copy generation is a separate action. Uploading does not change the public interactive example or immediately send a demo link. Reviewed demo content is available only to people with access to that password-protected studio.

How the forms work

Inquiries and demo-request details are stored in our hosted site database. Our hosting, email and AI service providers process information needed to operate the site and prepare your demo. When our team starts the AI analysis, the reference design and relevant public website content are processed to suggest brand templates and copy. URLs submitted within a private studio are used to prepare the requested assets.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to check for automated submissions; it processes device, browser and connection information for this security check. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Free and member studios keep their brand assets, campaigns and saved copy while the studio is active. Member accounts additionally store an email address and a salted password hash. Sign-in uses secure session cookies; raw passwords are not stored. Upgrading keeps the same workspace and data.

We also store submission times, consent notice versions and daily hashed connection identifiers to limit repeated submissions. For uploads, we store the file name, type, size, transfer status and notification delivery status. Notifications include your email, website, notes and any file details for the GreatButton team to follow up; files remain in private storage. Please do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.

How long we keep submissions

We retain inquiries linked to an active studio to support that workspace. Other form inquiries are normally kept for 90 days and deleted when a new verified inquiry is processed, so they can remain longer during quiet periods.

Designs without a completed demo request are eligible for deletion after 24 hours. Demo requests, including interrupted upload attempts, their email details and any saved designs, are normally eligible for deletion after 90 days. A design linked to an active private demo is retained while it is needed for that demo. Cleanup runs in small batches as new uploads are received, so records may remain longer during quiet periods.

If an inquiry becomes an ongoing customer relationship, later correspondence and project records are handled separately for that relationship and any applicable recordkeeping requirements.

Proofing accounts and billing

Proofing stores workspace membership, uploaded files and versions, comments, decisions, review-link access and account security records to provide the review service. People you invite or authorize through a review link can access the content permitted by that access. Authentication uses the selected sign-in provider and secure session cookies. We retain provider identity references, verified contact information, consent records and security audit records needed to operate the account.

Stripe processes payments and business billing details, including VAT information where applicable. GreatButton stores billing references, subscription and payment verification results, and the consent needed to apply a plan or storage allowance. Card details are entered in Stripe’s payment form; GreatButton does not store raw card numbers or security codes. Account content and billing records have separate retention requirements; cancellation does not immediately delete the billing audit history.
